"Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge" "Bald Eagle"

The River "S" Unit of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge has a 4.2 mile auto tour route and 1.5 mile seasonal hiking trail. The auto tour is an excellent way to see the Refuge. A pair of binoculars is a must and a camera makes it even more fun !!! The following are images captured of the Bald Eagle, arranged monthly, beginning in November. Not all images of the Bald Eagle are shown here, more may be found throughout the Trip Logs. November 25, 2007, Trip Log For a long time the immature Bald Eagle perched high looking across Rest Lake. The adult flew in and chased him off before perching himself.
